Yes, like I said keep the belt cars 1-speed. Allow 2-speed only for the shaft drives. Or keep it the way it is. Rubber tires are still different from foams and rally cars have diffs unlike 1/8 onroad --> you can still race on parking places even with 2-speeds

Ciao, thanks for asking! Yes, I tried BMT with 1-speed and it would work on parking lot racing. However, races are done here on tracks that have longer main straights, hence 2-speed is a must. My opinion: If you plan to keep races on parking lots and smaller tracks/main straights shortened by chicanes, then a ) allow 2-speed tranny with shaft driven b ) belt cars single speed That would propably even the competition in the best way. [/quote] Ciao, yes we do (in Finland) it's called GT-8 "spec" but it follows the rules of the U.S GT racing i.e. 2-speed allowed but only shaft drive. Hence, BMT cannot attend, only club races.
